Fuddle a 4 year old, Golden Retriever/Collie Cross from Boxmoor won the prestigious award of Crufts Dog Obedience Championships 2025 on Sunday 9th March at the Birmingham NEC. Fuddle who absolutely loves to work, put in an amazing round & absolutely reveled in the atmosphere, where he won in style.
Fuddle & his owner Sue Monk, were also presented two special awards from Dog Training Weekly Magazine at Crufts on Saturday 8th March for winning the most Challenge Certificates & Merit Points in Obedience competitions for 2024.
Sue also competed on Saturday in the Bitch Championships with her 8 year old Border Collie Giddy, who last year came 3rd.
Sue & her dogs can often be seen at Chaulden Field & Boxmoor Cricket Club training & preparing her dogs for competitions, which take place most weekends from April to October, all over the UK.
Sue & husband Paul have 4 dogs & have both lived in Boxmoor most of their lives, they enjoy going for long walks with the dogs in our lovely countryside. Their dogs are pets & very much loved members of their family, who all like to be kept busy.
Sue, who is a Trainer at Chevale Dog Training Club in Leyhill, says training your dogs is a fabulous hobby & really rewarding, whether it’s pet dog training, or for any of the great dog sports that are now very popular & available to all breeds.
