Thank you Boxmoor! We are so pleased and honoured to be re-elected as Boxmoor’s councillors. We are looking forward to four more years of working hard for the community to get the outcomes you deserve.
To update you on the Fishery Road Crossing, we have received a lot of feedback on this and are currently working with Herts CC to move forward to consultation on the best possible plan, given all the many considerations you have raised. Once this work is agreed, we look forward to focusing attention on Green End Road and Gravel Hill Terrace.
Another of our priorities has been road safety near Schools and we are pleased that Adrian has been able to fund bollards outside Dacorum Music Schoo to restrict cars making dangerous drop-offs near Hemel and South Hill Schools. We intend to make sure more safety measures are implemented in that area and others near schools in Boxmoor.
We continue to work closely with Boho Boxmoor on projects that beautify the area. The Fishery Passage murals (see photo) have made a wonderful impact on the area and we look forward to their sensory garden on the rough land near the Anchor Lane junction. We aim to prioritise improving other footpaths across Boxmoor.
Other priorities moving forward will be:
– review and extend controlled parking arrangements
– increase parking through sensible use of verge-hardening
– continue tackling litter and dog poo
– avoid over-ambitious development, both in relation to in-fill and big projects, such as at the station
– support the businesses on the ‘High Street’
We welcome your input into these issues and are sure there are many other issues that you feel need attention. We will restart Neighbourhood Action Groups that fell away because of Covid on the following dates:
THURSDAY 28th SEPTEMBER 7.00-8.30pm:
Parking & Controlled Zones
@ Warners End Scouts Hut, Gravel Lane
SATURDAY 18th NOVEMBER 11.00am-12.30pm:

Friday 2nd February 10.30am – 12.00pm:
