New self-closing gates have been fitted to the pedestrian bridge on Station Moor. These gates will prevent the horses and Belted Galloway cows from accessing the bridge on their return to the Moor in the Spring.
Our Nature Tots group met up again for the first time in 2022! This month’s session saw the children carry out a range of activities including mud painting with leaf brushes, bug hunting, playing natural instruments and building homes for some of our native mammals! Nature Tots is a child-led drop in session with different activities planned every month to allow young children to explore in the woodland and learn about the natural world. Suitable for children aged 18 months to 4 years.
You may have noticed another new addition up at the Old Barn…
Please welcome the all new Hydration Station for you and your pups to wet your whistle whilst out and about exploring our estate!
At this time of year our ewes are expecting and any stress can cause complications with lambing, so please remember to follow the countryside code. If you want to plan your route around our livestock we have a map available on our website: www.boxmoortrust.org.uk/stock-map/
