During lockdown there has been no rehoming taking place, but abandoned and unwanted dogs still continue to arrive. It’s a very challenging time for a small charity that relies on donations and fund-raising, especially as we have been able to hold our usual events. We need to ask generous dog lovers and supporters to help us get through this difficult time and to continue to provide the high level of care our dogs deserve. It’s easy to make a one-off donation of £3 simply by texting APPLE to 70111, or donate via Paypal using the ‘DONATE Support a Cause’ option and search for Appledown Rescue.
